Tonight,
Under weight I cannot shed,
Nor set to rest,
A caution earned,
Bewilderment.
How in absence,
Could my guileless words
Lose coveted respect-
Cause pain to u,
Though kindness meant?
Or in ignorance, a message sent
sparked disillusionment?
In speech,
This fear of greatest fault
Trips my tongue to halt.
But light-winged voice in written word,
The wall was met with carefree thought,
And gained all mass, of caused offense-
Lost innocence.
Where spans a bridge
When offered hand cannot reach
To heal
In measurement?
For crumbled faith ,
Some kind cement
Restore-
Rebuild-
To some extent?
