Boxing Day

Boxing Day is traditionally the day following Christmas Day, when servants and tradesmen would receive gifts from their bosses or employers, known as a "Christmas box". Today, Boxing Day is the bank holiday (not in India) that generally takes place on 26 December. It is observed in the United Kingdom, Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Malta and some other Commonwealth nations. In Australia, Boxing Day is a federal public holiday. Australia holds the first day of the Boxing Day Test in Melbourne at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.

In South Africa, Boxing Day was renamed to Day of Goodwill in 1994. Also, today is the first day of the last Test match of Cricket between SA and India. Moreover, Jacques Kallis, one of the all time greatest all-rounders, has today announced his plan to retire after this match.

So, everywhere there is happiness on this day. Why not combine your happiness with a clean-shaven face throughout the ongoing Happy Holidays! I hate that unclean stubble. Holidays are a mark of freedom, and freedom also signifies independence from unclean stubble, gentlemen! Since this is the best occasion to be meeting your friends and family, you need to look good to them so as to hinge the impression that all is really well at your end. Enjoy the life! :)
